Been a tad too long since last I checked in. Hoop this finds all well. Been in L America for last while. The drug cartel wars are horrendous. Total anarchy and corruption on both sides. My advice is to stay away. The attrocities are well under reported.

Frank thanks for the report. Why do we not legalize- only the massive corruption, bribes and killing will tell. Simple legalization would be a revolution. With the unintended consequences to boot. Where's a killer, corrupt politician or cop to go to find work. Not an marketable skill set....no, no they could go to D.C! Seriously the UN? Did a great job in Rwanda And.... I'll stop here, not enough space regarding the wonders of that organization. So many innocents lost as it seems always to be. How about one grows their own. You can even get the right poppy seeds if you poke around. Good luck and the best on finding something new Frank

The poor are caught in the crossfire and families are used as pawns on both sides. Look for report to united nations beginning of May. That is something they would be truly useful for. No more death needlessly is what should be fought for.

Hmmm, maybe if drug consuming countries legalized these substances then the black market would disappear along with it's violence and destruction... But then are we putting power in the hands of the state-friendly pharma industry to distribute to the people their intoxicants?

Hey, at least S. American farmers could grow dope without worrying about having gangsters with AK's bully them around... How bout some Fair Trade Cocaine today, sir?
